Health Status: Bolt is a healthy guy but it was quickly discovered he had a previous issue with his front leg where there was a injury around a growth plate that did not heal correctly and required surgery which the previous owners declined at least twice. We are now having an orthopaedic assessment as Bolt's ability to weight bear on his front leg is intermittent and at times appears to cause pain. Bolt will require orthopaedic surgery to repair this leg. The type of surgery is not yet established. He sees his surgeon in early december.
History: Bolt came to us from owners who stated they were moving and who stated they had no time for him. We have since realized that Bolt has a serious leg issue that was known and left untreated since he was young.
