Date of Arrival:  March 2nd, 2024

Age:  Approx. 6 months

Breed:  Pomeranian X

Size:  Approx. 9 lbs

Gender:  Male

Adoption Status:  We are accepting applications for Bobbie.

Must Haves:  Fun toys and someone to love him forever

Personality:  Bobbie is a shy pup but oh so sweet. As he continues to come out of his shell he will probably be a typical, playful, and mischievous puppy! He has the cutest little underbite and snore when sleeping.

House training/Pee Pad Training:  Bobbie's housetraining is coming along! He has been using a pee pad at night. Lots of things to learn for a puppy!

Walks/Leash Training:  Bobbie has no experience with a collar or leash yet, so he will need to continue his learning :) He will require regular walks and exercise.

Children:  With proper introduction we do not see this being any issue. Children should be dog savvy, as he is quite small and timid. Sudden quick movements may startle him.

Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:  Bobbie is good with the other pups in his home.

Best Home Environment:  We are looking for a home that will continue helping Bobbie with his training. Another fur sibling similar in size to hang out and play with would be amazing! Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.

A note about secure fencing: While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.

A note about being a flight risk: A flight risks can be the result of many things - fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of a fence. Any of these reasons could lead to a dog looking to break free of a leash or seek out gaps in fencing so they can move beyond the fence.

We strongly encourage adopters to enroll in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. The purpose in such participation is to build trust between human and dog, to help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills. These things are in addition to the on and off-leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.

Health:  Bobbie is waiting for his full vetting

History: Bobbie is a breeder surrender. He came to us through a larger intake via the Boston Terrier and Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba. We are thankful that we can play a small part in helping a larger group of dogs receive care and find warm, loving, forever homes.

Adoption Fee:  Bobbie's adoption fee is $500

Please download our application and follow instructions to apply for any of our dogs in care.

Please note we do not review and process any applications until a dog is ready for adoption.

Due to the high volume of interest in our cupcakes dogs, we regretfully cannot provide personalized responses to applicants at this time. We also are not maintaining any adoptions waitlists. Please visit our FB page where we will update everyone on how our dogs are doing as often as possible. Thank you for your understanding.
