Adoption Status: We are accepting applications, however we will not process them until we have gotten to know Maska and what type of home is best for her so we can make the best match. She will also need to complete a health assessment and any identified care in her health plan before moving to her forever home.
Personality: Maska is a timid, little lady. She loves to be held and petted. Beyond that she is pretty shy, but also very sweet. We will share more information as we get to know her.
House training/Pee Pad Training: Maska is doing great with her pee pad training!
Walks/leash training: It is a bit too soon to start leash and walk training. We will update more once we get to know her and she starts this process.
Children: To be assessed.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Maska is doing well in her foster home with another small breed foster and two larger breed dogs that are calm and confident. She is not ready to play and interact a lot yet, but she is doing well at sharing the home. She has become quite close to the other small foster dog (Pepper).
Best Home Environment: To be assessed.
Health: Maska recently weaned a litter and her coat is just recovering. We are focusing on nutrition and will get her groomed as soon as she is ready. She will also have a full health assessment and a care plan will be established and completed. At this time, we know the plan will include vaccine review and update as needed, spay surgery and deworming. We will provide more information after she has her health plan.
History: Beautiful Maska is an owner-breeder surrender. We are so thankful that this owner retired Maska to our rescue to find a great forever home!
Adoption Fee: When Maska is ready for adoption (after completing her health assessment and care, including her spay surgery), her adoption fee will be $450.00
