Adoption Status: We are accepting applications, however we will not process them until we have gotten to know Nutmeg and what type of home is best for her so we can make the best match. She will also need to complete her health assessment and any identified care in her health plan before moving to her forever home.
Personality: Nutmeg is absolutely adorable! She is already inching up on the sofa beside foster parents and giving little nudges for pets and cuddles and she is enjoying the snuggles already! We will update more as we get to know her.
House training/Pee Pad Training: Nutmeg is just starting to learn this process and will need time to learn and master the "personal business" process.
Walks/leash training: It is a bit too soon to start leash and walk training. We will update more once we get to know her and she starts this process.
Children: To be assessed.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Nutmeg is doing great! She likes Archie, the feline in the house, who is very much wanting to get to know her (he loves for everyone to love him) and she is doing great as he gives her gentle paw pats. We think she will do well in a a forever home with felines and a small dog sibling who is calm and confident and willing to help her learn about being a dog in a home.
Best Home Environment: To be assessed.
Health: Nutmeg will have a full health assessment and a care plan will be established and completed. At this time, we know the plan will include vaccine review and update as needed, spay surgery and deworming. We will provide more information after she has her health plan.
History: Nutmeg is an owner-breeder surrender. We are so thankful that this owner retired Nutmeg to our rescue to find a great forever home!
Adoption Fee: When Nutmeg is ready for adoption (after completing health assessment and care including spay surgery), her adoption fee will be $425.00
