Adoption Status: We are accepting applications, however we will not process them until we have gotten to know Pepper and what type of home is best for her so we can make the best match. She will also need to complete the health assessment and any identified care in her health plan before moving to her forever home.
Personality: Our tiny Pepper is a wee one that loves being held. We are just getting to know her, but we already love her sweet little heart and know she will be a great snuggle dog given the time and space she needs.
House training/Pee Pad Training: Pepper is doing great with her pee pad training!
Walks/leash training: It is a bit too soon to start leash and walk training. We will update more once we get to know her and she starts this process.
Children: To be assessed.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Pepper is doing well in the foster home with another small breed foster and two larger breed dogs that are calm and confident. She doesn't play or interact a lot yet, but she is doing well at sharing the home, and has become good buddies with the other small foster dog (Maska). Pepper does like to chase cats, so she will need a feline-free home!
Best Home Environment: To be assessed.
Health: Pepper will have a full health assessment and a care plan will be established and completed. At this time, we know the plan will include vaccine review and update as needed, spay surgery and deworming. We will provide more information after she has her health plan.
History: Our tiny Pepper is an owner-breeder surrender. We are so thankful that this owner retired Pepper to our rescue to find a great forever home!
Adoption Fee: When Pepper is ready for adoption (after completing her health assessment and care, including her spay surgery), her adoption fee will be $425.00
