Must Haves: TBD

Personality: We are just getting to know Percy, but he is a happy, chill dog. He really likes to hang out with the humans and will follow them everywhere he can.
House training/Pee Pad Training: Percy is housetrained. He had one accident his first night, but other than that, he has been very good about doing his business outside.
Walks/Leash Training: Percy loves going for walks and does well on a leash
Children: TBD
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Percy is good with other dogs and cats. He is not overly interested in playing with them.
Best Home Environment: Percy would do best in a home where the people are around fairly often. He really enjoys just being near his fosters. He has not used his bark very much, so a home with shared walls would probably be okay. A fully fenced yard is strongly preferred and priority may be given to suitable applicants who have one.
A note about secure fencing: While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.
A note about being a flight risk: A flight risks can be the result of many things - fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to a dog looking to break free of a leash or seek out gaps in fencing so they can move beyond the fence.
We strongly encourage adopters to enroll in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. The purpose in such participation is to build trust between human and dog, to help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills. These things are in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.
Health: TBD
History: Percy is an owner surrender
Adoption Fee: When Percy is available, his adoption fee will be $450.
