Date of Arrival: June 3, 2026
Age: 6
Breed: Bichon X
Size: Approx 30lbs
Gender: Male
Adoption Status: We are not yet accepting applications

Personality: Scotty is very new to us and we are getting to know him but so far he is one sweet pea and just a good, good boy. At the moment sweet Scotty is a bit chunky and is thus on a dieting journey. He likes his walks and is okay to be left alone when his people leave the house. He does some barking when meeting new people but does settle down in pretty short order. We will continue to update!
House training/Pee Pad Training: Scotty is housetrained
Walks/Leash Training: Scotty walks well on a leash
Children:TBD
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Scotty is good with the other dogs he has met so far.
Best Home Environment: We are still getting to know Scotty's needs and likes and will update!
Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.
A note about secure fencing - While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.
A note about being a flight risk - Flight risk can be the result of many things, including fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to the dog attempting to break free of their leash or seek out gaps so they can move past the fence.
We strongly encourage adopters to enrol in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. Participating in an obedience course can help build trust between human and dog, help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills, in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.
Health: Scotty is on medications for seizures which are well-controlled.
History: Scotty is an owner relinquish.
Adoption Fee: 0-12 months - $600 || 1-8 years - $500 || 9+ years - $400
