Personality: Skippy is the sweetest little guy - emphasis on 'little', he weighs less than five pounds! Skippy loves everyone he meets and is always up for snuggles. He likes to carry his stuffed animals around - the fact that they are the same size as he is doesn't seem to phase him one bit! He's a well-mannered, chill little guy, with excellent recall. Skippy is happiest when he's on someone's lap or curled up right beside them
House training/Pee Pad Training: Skippy is working on his house training. He's a bit of a 'marker', but his foster is working hard to help him learn that this is not a thing to do indoors.
Walks/leash training: TBD but we don't anticipate any trouble in this area.
Children: Skippy likes children, even very young kids. However due to his size, we are looking for a home with older children who have an understanding of how small he is, or a home without kids.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Skippy does well with all animals. He would enjoy being a home with a canine companion, but would probably also be quite happy to be an 'only' dog.
Best Home Environment: Skippy would like a home where his humans can be around on a regular basis. He is fairly quiet, and only barks when his foster brother gets worked up about someone at the front door. He likes to play with toys and is a happy, gentle little guy.
Health: Skippy has recently been diagnosed with epilepsy. We are working with the team at Central Veterinary Services to find the right combination of medication for him.
History: Skippy was an owner/breeder surrender.
Adoption Fee: Skippy's adoption fee is $450.
