Last Updated: July 28th, 2026
Date of Arrival: July 21, 2026
Age: 12
Breed: Pomeranian
Size: Approx 10lbs
Gender: Male
Adoption Status: Choco is not yet ready for adoptions

Personality: Choco is very sweet and gentle and loves other dogs. He has a big voice so won't be a good fit for anyone with shared walls. Right now Choco is taking some time to decompress in his new foster home and is needing a little bit of space to himself to do so. We will continue to update as we get to know him better
House training/Pee Pad Training:
Choco is housetrained
Walks/Leash Training:
TBD
Children:
TBD
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:
He loves other dogs

Best Home Environment: We are still getting to know Choco and will continue to update. That sad, he's got a lovely voice, but one we don't think a shared-wall neighbour would enjoy too much so we're thinking standalone home for this guy! He also thrives with other dogs around so that would be great for him.
Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.
A note about secure fencing - While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.
A note about being a flight risk - Flight risk can be the result of many things, including fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to the dog attempting to break free of their leash or seek out gaps so they can move past the fence.
We strongly encourage adopters to enrol in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. Participating in an obedience course can help build trust between human and dog, help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills, in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.

Health: Choco needs to complete his vetting
History: Choco is an owner surrender.
Adoption Fee: 0-12 months - $600 || 1-8 years - $500 || 9+ years - $400
