Personality: Francy has the best smile! She is learning that humans can be kind and loving. She now feels safe enough to join the family on the couch and greets her foster mama with a happy dance when she comes home. She is a very sweet girl that will need a little patience to allow her to feel safe in a new environment. She is going to be a lovely companion to someone very lucky!

House training/Pee Pad training:  Francy has made amazing improvements in her house training. She will let you know when she needs to go outside by pacing by the back door and if you are not around she will use the pee pad. She has almost been accident free for a few months now! Some grace will be required as she transitions into a new home.

Walks/Leash Training: Francy has had little experience yet with walking due to her heartworm treatment. She does wear her harness and leash around the backyard for practice and is adjusting like a little champ. Once she's ready to explore outside of the yard she will need some practice and time to learn that all the loud noises aren't so scary.

Children:  Francy would be ok in a home with older children that are dog savvy. Loud noises and sudden movements scare her, so a calmer home would be best.

Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:  Francy is getting along well with her current housemates. She has not met any bigger dogs yet. At this point in her journey, she needs friends that are low key and fairly calm.

Best Home Environment: Francy would thrive in a calm, quiet home. She will need gentle love and guidance as she adjusts to her new surroundings. A secure, fenced yard is a must as she is a high flight risk, especially when startled.

Health:  Francy is almost done her heartworm treatment. Once her heartworm treatment is complete, her spay will be scheduled.

History:  Francy is a breeder surrender. We are thankful to Jenn from JFFR for reaching out to us for help.

Adoption Fee:  Francy's adoption fee is $425
