Personality: Francy is still very new to rescue and we are just getting to know her. She is a friendly girl but quite fearful and nervous at this point. She will need some time to blossom and feel safe.
House training/Pee Pad training: Indoor living is new to Francy, so she is working hard on her housetraining.
Walks/Leash Training: Francy has no experience with a leash. Her foster mama has been working on getting her used to wearing a harness around the house. Her future adopters should be prepared to continue working on this with her.
Children: We don't think that Francy has had any experience with children. We will continue to assess this.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Francy is getting along well with her current housemates.
Best Home Environment: We are still getting to know Francy, but we suspect a quieter home that will be able to provide her with gentle love and patience would be ideal. A securely fenced yard will be a requirement, as she is considered a high flight risk.
Health: Francy has tested positive for heartworm. She will begin her lengthly treatment soon.
