Adoption Status: We are accepting applications for Duke. He will be ready to move once healed from his upcoming neuter.
Personality: Duke is a happy boy. He enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster parents and has the cutest little snore. He loves giving kisses. Hope you don't mind getting up close and personal!
House training/Pee Pad training: Duke is working hard on his house training.
Walks/Leash Training: Duke has no previous experience with a harness or leash. His fosters will introduce this but leash training is something his adopted family will need to continue working on with him.
Children: Duke's foster family had some children over recently and he didn't pay much attention to them. We expect he will do fine in a home with dog savvy children, as long as they give him space to become comfortable.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Duke gets along fine with the other dogs in his foster home, although he prefers the company of the lower energy dog. We think he would likely be fine as the only dog in a home as well.
Best Home Environment: Duke is looking for a family that will continue working on his training and provide him with lots of love. He will need regular walks and play time. He loves spending time in the yard, so a home with a securely fenced yard is a must. Duke does like to talk, so we are looking for a home with no shared walls.
Health: Duke will have his neuter shortly. Otherwise he is a clinically healthy boy.
History: Duke is an owner surrender who came in with his sister. We thank their owner for entrusting us with their care.
Adoption Fee: Duke's adoption fee is $500.
