Personality: Duke is a happy boy who loves to be petted and get belly rubs. He likes toys, especially stuffies, and gets the zoomies. He even has a pretty dance he does when he's excited for a treat! He's excellent in the car and did very well on a recent shopping trip to Pet Valu.
House training/Pee Pad training: Duke is working hard on his house training. He is doing most of his business on a pee pad at the back door. His future home will still need to have some patience with this and continue with training.
Walks/Leash Training: Duke is doing awesome on a leash. He gets so excited to go but settles down shortly once they get going. He is going to be a great little walking buddy!
Children: Duke is very good with the grandchildren that visit the home. He also had the chance to meet the neighbour children and did very well.
Dogs, Cats and Other Friends: Duke gets along well with his foster brother. His foster brother is a similar age and both are playful. He has met a cat and did well. We believe he could co-exist with a dog-savvy cat.
Best Home Environment: Duke is looking for a family that will continue working on his training and provide him with lots of love. He will need regular walks and play time. He loves spending time in the yard, so a home with a securely fenced yard is a must. Duke does like to talk, so we are looking for a home with no shared walls.
Health: Duke has completed all his vetting and is a healthy boy.
History: Duke is an owner surrender who came in with his sister. We thank their owner for entrusting us with their care.
Adoption Fee: Duke's adoption fee is $400.
