Personality:  Dinero (pictured on the left) and Bunso (pictured on the right) are bonded brothers. They are sweet, friendly boys who love to play and have a good snuggle session. Dinero is more laid-back and chill, while Bunso is the more outgoing and energetic one. Bunso believes all love and focus is for him, so he can be a bit jealous when Dinero gets attention and he has to wait his turn. Dinero takes life easy; Bunso views life as a competition between him and his brother.

House training/Pee Pad Training:  Dinero and Bunso are pee pad trained. Their fosters are helping them learn to go outside instead of using pee pads, but this is still a work in progress.

Walks/Leash Training:  Dinero and Bunso are leash trained and love going for walks. They will need to be walked regularly (at least twice a day) for the foreseeable future, as both boys are a few pounds heavier than their ideal weight.

Children:  Dinero and Bunso are good with children.

Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:  We have not had Dinero and Bunso around other animals yet. They do bark at the dogs they see on walks, but are good about quieting down when their fosters tell them to.

Best Home Environment:  We are looking for a home that will welcome both of these boys, as they are a bonded pair. The boys do well when left home alone, and are generally quiet. Their adoptive family will need to commit to daily walks to help them lose weight.

Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.

A note about secure fencing - While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.

A note about being a flight risk - Flight risk can be the result of many things, including fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to the dog attempting to break free of their leash or seek out gaps so they can move past the fence.

We strongly encourage adopters to enrol in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. Participating in an obedience course can help build trust between human and dog, help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills, in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.

Health:  Dinero and Bunso have finished their vetting and are available for adoption. Both boys are overweight, and their adopter will need to be committed to helping them return to a healthy size.

History:  Dinero and Bunso were owner surrendered.

Adoption Fee: Dinero and Bunso's combined adoption fee is $1000.
