Last Updated:  October 15, 2026

Date of Arrival:  September 19, 2026

Age:  14 Weeks Old

Breed:  Pomeranian

Size:  Small Breed

Gender: Female

Adoption Status: We are accepting applications for Lexie.

Personality: Lexie is a friendly, laid-back girl who loves to cuddle. She's relaxed and is happy to settle in close to her people. She enjoys playing with toys and has a healthy appetite. She gets along well with other dogs and kids in her foster home. She loves to be held and will sometimes even give a little growl when you try to put her down to let you know that she would rather be in your arms.

House training/Pee Pad Training: Lexie seems to know how to use pee pads and will stand by the back door to let you know she has to go to the bathroom.

*Note: Sometimes, moving to a new home can temporarily setback house training while they get used to their new environment.

Walks/Leash Training: Lexie has not begun leash training as she has not completed her vaccinations.

Children: Lexie is really friendly with the kids she has met and would do well in a home with older, dog-savvy children due to her small size.

Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:  Lexie has not met any cats yet, but is friends with her brother and foster sibling.

Best Home Environment: TBD

Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.

A note about secure fencing - While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.

A note about being a flight risk - Flight risk can be the result of many things, including fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to the dog attempting to break free of their leash or seek out gaps so they can move past the fence.

We strongly encourage adopters to enrol in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. Participating in an obedience course can help build trust between human and dog, help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills, in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.

Health: Lexie will need to spayed once old enough. This will be covered by the rescue and must be done through Central Veterinary Services.

History: Lexie is a breeder surrender.

Adoption Fee:  0-12 months - $600 || 1-8 years - $500 || 9+ years - $400
