Date of Arrival:  September 19, 2026

Age:  Approximately 13 weeks old.

Breed:  Pomeranian

Size: Small Breed

Gender:  Male

Adoption Status:  Adoption in process.

Personality:  Rex is the bossier of the two pups. He can be a little rough with his baby sister. Typical brother! He even tries to steal some of her food. How rude! But after a good play and the occasional visit to puppy jail, he loves a good ear scratch and to be held. Ahhh puppy cuddles!

House training/Pee Pad Training:  Rex is learning to do his business outdoors. He will wait by the backdoor or use the pee pad.

Walks/Leash Training:  Rex is working on his leash training.

Children:  Rex is currently in a home with children and has loved them all! They are just puppies so dog savvy children that know gentle play to make sure their little growing limbs are safe. He loves a good game of tug of war.

Dogs, Cats and Other Friends:  He is good with other dogs but we would recommend a home with dogs of similar energy. He hasn't been exposed to cats yet. We expect being a puppy that he could be trained to respect a cat in the home but you know your feline baby best and how they may feel about a puppy in the home?

Best Home Environment:  Rex is young so he needs a home that can continue working with him on his training. An active home with play and lots of mental stimulation. A home with a secure, fenced yard so he can let out his puppy zoomies. He is still getting used to car rides. He is a typical loveable puppy!

Preference may be given to a home with a securely fenced yard.

A note about secure fencing - While each dog is different in the level of security needed, we require the fence be of a height that the dog could not jump over (some of our dogs can easily scale a 5 foot fence), no gaps in fencing, gate is secure, and the bottom of the fence is also free from gaps or areas where a dog could dig out from underneath.

A note about being a flight risk - Flight risk can be the result of many things, including fear, lack of "street-wise" skills, or incredible curiosity for the sights, smells, and sounds on the other side of the fence. Any of these reasons could lead to the dog attempting to break free of their leash or seek out gaps so they can move past the fence.

We strongly encourage adopters to enrol in a basic obedience course with the dog they adopt. Participating in an obedience course can help build trust between human and dog, help the dog gain confidence and social interaction skills, and build strong recall skills, in addition to the on and off leash skills that basic obedience training can provide.

Health: Rex is currently working through his vetting.

History:  Rex is an owner/breeder surrender.

Adoption Fee:  0-12 months - $600 || 1-8 years - $500 || 9+ years - $400
